Most nutrition apps mislead their users in two places: logging becomes a chore, and a value they cannot measure is recorded as zero. FormOn was built around both. There are four ways to log a meal: a photo of the plate, a barcode, the nutrition label or a catalogue of fifteen thousand products. Label reading happens on the device and the photo is never sent anywhere. AI only recognises the food on the plate; calories and macros are calculated in code from the catalogue, and an unknown value gets a dash instead of a zero. The daily target updates through the day from steps and energy read from Apple Health. The app also includes training programs built from 139 exercises, a coach that sums up the day in one sentence and a weekly league with friends.
